Bosnia and Herzegovina

Although Bosnia and Herzegovina is a small country, it’s one not to be missed. There are beautiful nature spots and charming towns like Mostar and Sarajevo, a city which has endured so much but has a fighting spirit like no other.

The country’s recent past is still present today, so take some time to learn about the 1990s war, which killed around 100,000 people, and the Srebrenica genocide, and pay your respects to all those who lost their lives.

The people are friendly, the food is great and there’s even a hill near Visoko that some say is an ancient pyramid.
